At AURA Design Work, we offer two types of services: "Design Only" & "End-to-end Interior Design" Services.

 

  • What services are included in “Design Only” Services?

Design Only Services includes a Presentation Set & a working detail set with material application which offers the client freedom and liberty to hire site execution team from the verified vendors with AURA DESIGN WORK or any Third-Party Vendor known to the clients’/customers/end users. AURA DESIGN WORK offers no site supervision or vendor management or coordination in this model.

 

  • What services are included in “End-to-End Interior Design” Services?

End-to-End Interior Design solution includes all the benefits from the “Design Only” model plus all the Site execution services Vendor Selection, Coordination & Management, Site Scheduling and overall Project Management.

 

  • What are the Free Services offered by Aura Design Work?

We believe in 100% clarity of thought & transparency with the clients/customers/end users. The complete work process and offerings are mentioned and explained on the website, apart from this we offer free quotation & first site visit to understand the clients’ requirements.

 

  • Which areas does Aura Design Work operate in?

AURA DESIGN WORK offers End-to-End Interior Design Services in and around Pune & Design Only Services are offered PAN INDIA.

  • How can I register online to Aura Design Work?

Clients can register online by signing the Appointment Letter & make the advance payment and kick start their project respectively.

 

  • How do I register to Aura Design Work (Design Only) Services?

Design Only Packages are fixed and non – negotiable, a full 100% advance payment should be made by the client. We offer the design only solution within 7 working days, once the client completes the registration formalities.

  • How do I register to Aura Design Work (End to End Interior Design) Services?

Once the client completes the registration formalities and 25% advance payment as mobilization charges are paid, the project is commenced.

 

  • What should be my ideal budget?

As per our curated packages mentioned on the website under the packages page, the basic starting packages for Economic Variant are:

1BHK = ₹ 3,75,000/- + Taxes

2BHK = ₹ 6,75,000/- + Taxes

3BHK = ₹ 9,75,000/- + Taxes

These packages are based on basic surface finishes in Laminates, but clients can upgrade to more superior surface finishes. The budget of the project can ideally be determined on precision only after the design is finalized and material selection is approved by the client.

 

  • What is the ideal time of registration with AURA DESIGN WORK?

At AURA DESIGN WORK, we respect the valuable time of our Clients/Customers/End Users. Ideally, if they register with us one month or two months prior to the expected possession of their project,  it gives us enough time to offer them solutions with optimum usage of space, better budget planning and a variety of design options to choose from. This also avoids the rush and urgency to kickstart the project and gives enough time to plan the project in a more efficient way & offers better project planning and execution as well.

 

  • What is the difference between Sq. Feet based Professional Fees versus Percentage based Fees?

This is a very important and one of the top ten FAQ’s. Percentage based fees increase with the budget whereas Sq. Feet based Professional fees are aone-time and offer more transparency. It also offers the clients better flexibility to plan their priority and the overall project budget. It is more convenience as clients can any time upgrade or downgrade in items under finalised scope of work. It assured the project development cost remains well within the budget and doesn’t pinch the pocket and hard-earned savings of the client in this process of Planning & Execution of their respective project. This also offers the client a total control over the finances and budget of the project.

  

  • What are the roles & responsibilities of Aura Design Work for "Design Only" Projects?

AURA DESIGN WORK is only responsible for Design Process and Consultation in this business model. Any responsibility related to Site Planning & Execution process is not included in this business model.

 

  • What are the roles & responsibilities of Aura Design Work for "End-to-End Interior Design" Projects?

This business model is for those who are very busy with their work schedule. We manage  everything from Stage one to Project Handover Stage and maintain 100% transparency. We also have remote assistance available for the clients, to keep them updated with the progress at all times whether they are working or at home or even away for holidays.

 

  • What are my roles & responsibilities as a client / customer of Aura Design Work once I register for my project?

In order to have a successful Project Planning and Execution, it is very important and necessary that both the parties i.e., AURA DESIGN WORK & the respective clients should follow their duties, roles and responsibilities.

Here the Clients role is to give us timely approvals for the Design once they are satisfied with overall planning, look and feel of their space.

The client should also give us timely approvals for the Material Selection with respect to the final design offering.

All the statutory permissions from the necessary authorities are to be arranged by the client- this includes Access to the Site, Work Permit and society related permissions.

Most importantly, clients should follow the Schedule of Payments related to Our Professional Fees and the Project Development Cost Stage wise, release of bills and payments towards the verified vendors.

Any delay in all above duties, roles and responsibilities from the clients’ end will result in delayed Timeline of the Project as well as delayed handover of the site. Stopping or skipping the respective stage of payments will result in holding the work in progress on stand still mode. In such case, work will be resumed after the respective stage of payments is released. This is a mandatory process to keep a win-win situation for both the parties- the clients and AURA DESIGN WORK respectively.

 

  • What is the Design & Consultation charges of AURA DESIGN WORK?

Our Design Charges are fixed, non-negotiable and start from:

₹ 150/ Sq. Feet for Non- Civil Scope of Work + Taxes

₹ 200/ Sq. Feet for Civil Scope of Work + Taxes

These are the Professional fees excluding the Project Development Cost & Taxes.

 

Apart from these whatever packages we have mentioned in our Design Only section will remain as mentioned until revised or updated. AURA DESIGN WORK reserves full rights to change, revise or update the packages mentioned on the website.

 

  • What are the Quality Check parameters of AURA DESIGN WORK?

We have a thorough quality control and inspection procedure during the site scheduling, material selection and site execution process. We do not encourage substandard products or services; all our recommendations are always verified. We provide a Zero Wastage policy; we keep a keen watch on demand versus supply chain of the materials during the site execution to maintain low or zero wastage. Most of the modular products are factory made which reduce the wastage of resources and raw materials.

 

  • Are there any Hidden Charges / Commissions involved?

There are absolutely no hidden charges or commissions involved in our work process. We believe a 100% transparency between us and the clients, so all the payments towards the site execution or to the verified vendors are directly made by the client. There is no middleman/agent or commission-based personnel involved. In tThis way, clients have total control over their Project Budget and get value for money services with ease and peace of mind.

 

  • Do I/we have to follow up with the Third-Party Vendors contractors?

In case you have hired AURA DESIGN WORK only for "Design and Consultation", then yes, you need to manage the complete site execution process.

If you have hired AURA DESIGN WORK for "End-to-End Interior Design" Services then you do not have to interact or follow up with any of our verified vendors. You get a total remote assistance and update of all follow ups at your fingertips. We do it all for you!

 

  • What is the time of Completion of Design Only Services?

Once registered for this model, the client will receive our design proposal within 7 work days. If they like it and approve to go ahead,  they can then proceed with the site execution formalities. If they have any changes, suggestions or upgrades then revised design proposal will be shared in next 7 working days. This process will continue till the client is 100% satisfied with the output and sure about the design proposal that they want to proceed with for site execution.

 

  • What is the time of Completion for End-to-End Interior Design Services/Projects?

We are committed to offer a solution which is timebound, we are delivering projects in 55 working days once the final design proposal and the material selection is approved by the clients. Though we are committed with the 55 Days timeline, it is very important that the clients also comply with us during this process and cooperate us with wherever their inputs are required. Once the Final Scope of work is crisp & clear and we have enough clearance from your end, we make sure to bring your expectations to reality.

 

  • I want to use some of my existing furniture, can you integrate it in the new design theme?

Yes, we work on the same to try to upscale it to the new design theme but it is subject to condition to various factors like the age of the furniture item, joinery, installation and deconstruct or disassemble the same without damage. If it is feasible, we are totally open to the idea to save your pocket from unnecessary burdens.

 

  • Do you offer Virtual Consultation?

Yes, due to the fast-changing approach in the Interior Designing Industry, we have broadened our spectrum with Virtual Consultation, VR services and total Remote Assistance. You do not need to visit our office, take appointments, roam around the market to procure things or follow up with the vendors. We take care of it all so that you can sit back, relax in your balcony and enjoy a nice cup of coffee with your loved ones while you are updated on your WhatsApp with all of the above progress at your finger tips.

 

  • How much involvement & control I, as a client, will have over the project decision making?

You can enjoy total control over the Project and the budget, your involvement is only required in initial sessions of Client Orientation Program, Design Presentations and Surface Material Selection, post which is totally your choice on how much you want to get yourself involved in further processes.

 

  • What happens if the Project goes over budget or timeline extends?

We always formulate things in a very structured manner, thereby ensuring we are well within the budget restrictions as well as we have a proper scheduling process that maintains the timelines with respect to Project Management, unless and until disturbed by any limitations from your end.

 

  • How will we communicate throughout the project?

Most of the company structures are such at the time of ending the project, all decision makers are involved and later when the deal is closed, the decision makers of that organization delegate the job to their subordinates, in such situation the client is always confused as to with Whom should I coordinate? Who will be accountable to communicate? At AURA DESIGN WORK, we take special efforts to offer you a 'one person contact' throughout the process, from registration till the time your project is handed over to you.

 

  • Who will be my one-point of contact after registration?

Our Principal Architect / Interior Designer will be your one-point contact at all times.

 

  • What if I am not happy with the final designs?

Client orientation program is designed to understand you, your space, your requirements, your family, thier needs, your liking, your lifestyle, your budget, your availability, etc. After knowing and understandsing all these things, we have enough data that is essential to start the design process which reflects your space requirements, lifestyle and taste. It is a very rare occurrence that you will not be happy with the final design proposal.

 

  • What is your minimum project size?

We design and execute everything under the sun which classifies as Home, House, Studio, Apartment, Condo, Bungalow, Independent Villas, Duplex, Farm House, Pent House, Row House. We do it all!

 

  • Do you Design just one room or partial part of the Project?

Yes, if it is a "Design only" service then we design any part of your house. But for End-to-End Interior Design Services we don’t offer any partial services as it is subject to condition to our commercial feasibility.

 

  • Do you take the site if we are occupying the space while the site execution is to be done?

No, we don’t recommend or take such sites as it inconvenient to you more than us, as we cannot promise any Deadlines or Timelines related to Project Completion. Our verified vendors usually have to pay the labour for full day or 8 to 10 hours of work. If the site is already occupied by client, multiple vendors cannot be assigned to do the job simultaneously. Also, if there is civil work involved or false ceiling, painting or carpentry on site involved, then there is a lot of fine dust which is harmful for the health of any old age person, kids, babies and even pets can catch up the infection due to hazardous fumes released after painting or the dirt and fine dust of work.

 

  • Do you show your previous work or site before registration?

We have a proper Project Documentation process where in we take high resolution photos and videos along with our clients review and feedback about our services. If this does not suffice, we request our previous clients if we can take you to visit their site as post hand-over we have to respect their privacy and availability. We are open to show all ongoing projects, as the site is under our control before handover. Also, we can take you to the projects handed over in last 6 months, so that you may have a look at the new trends, materials and technology. There is no point in taking you to a project which is handed over more than 6 months ago, as the Interior trends change very fast, there may be a chance that you might feel the design language old and not updated. Also, we have no control on how they keep or maintain the site post hand-over.

 

  • Why do you take 100% advances in "Design Only" Services?

We sell ideas and concepts in Design Only Services to ensure we are paid before we dispatch the Design Solution and concept. Let's just say, we have learnt the hard way from our mistakes in the past.

 

  • Is the Advance payment refundable?

No, in "Design Only" model, we do not refund the Professional Fees. For "End-to-End" Interior Design Services, we take only 25% of the Professional fees which is non-refundable, if there is any dissatisfaction or you wish to discontinue with our services, we refund the only the amount which is received before the respective stage of the project execution. Besides, we have very reasonable professional fees. At AURA DESIGN WORK,we highly respect our Professional Time & Efforts put for the respective project.

 

  • Do we get to know / meet / negotiate with your verified vendors?

Yes, as mentioned earlier, 100% transparency is one of our Core values. Our clients reserve full rights to know / meet / negotiate / hire / terminate any vendor, if they fail to satisfy your requirements.

 

  • How do you ensure the Quality of Materials used for my project?

Firstly, we offer a complete material specification sheet as per your package selection which includes all the necessary details of the material with respect to size & dimensions, durability and warranty of that particular material. We only choose verified products which are renowned PAN INDIA or Internationally well-known brands. The products are carefully selected & chosen for you and have a minimum warranty of 10 years. Even in our basic package, we do not suggest or recommend any substandard products and materials.

 

  • What is your site visit frequency?

We do not offer any site visit in our Design Only packages. For End-to-End Interior Design Services ,at the stage of site execution we offer 2 visits per week on site. We also provide a Site Visit Schedule for the client. 

If any additional visits as per client's request are required, Site visit charges are applicable as follows :- Within city limits- ₹2,500/per visit and for any out station site visit, ₹5,000/per visit + to and fro travel + accommodation.

 

  • What is the timeline if I have Rigorous Civil Work involved in my Interiors?

We commit for 55 days delivery but when civil work comes into picture, there are civil work services which need their respective curing time, which usually happens in case of renovation projects. These projects might take more time somewhere around 3 to 3.5 months depending on how critical the civil work is.

 

  • Do you take only Residential Projects?

We have not confined ourselves to just the Residential Sector. We do Commercial and Retail interiors also, but we are more comfortable and happier in designing residences as every home has a different story.

 

  • How many times do you offer revisions in the design?

For Design Only Package, we offer upto 3 revisions, post which, any changes in the design proposal will be additonally chargeable. For End-to-End Interior Design Services, we offer up to 3 revisions in the Quotation. Any revisions exceeding 3 revisions will be chargeable as per the respective project quotation.

 

  • What if any of both the parties wants to terminate the contract?

It is in the liberty of both the parties AURA DESIGN WORK & the Clients’/Customers / End Users to Terminate the Contract. Same shall be informed by both parties in writing and provide a grace period of 15 days to close the financial settlements, if any. If the Clients’, Customers/ End Users are the ones who wish to terminate the services, then they are liable to indemnify & reimburse AURA DESIGN WORK with the full payment of the Professional fees up to the particular stage of the project when the Clients’, Customers/ End Users wish to terminate. Only then, AURA DESIGN WORK will hand over the NoC (No Objection Certificate) to the Clients/ Customers/ End Users. AURA DESIGN WORK reserves full rights of termination of the contract without any explanation if it is observed that the Clients’ / Customers/ End Users do not comply to the terms & conditions of the contract agreement or cause deliberate delay in following the Duties, Roles & Responsibilities of the Clients’/ Customers / End Users with respect to Professional Fees Payments as per the Payment Schedule.
